The app offers an innovative approach to managing personal finances, providing users with enhanced functionalities for handling bank accounts, UPI payments, cards, and loans.

Currently in its beta phase, this application is exclusively available to Kotak customers holding a savings or current account, credit card, or loan. Customers with additional relationships such as demat accounts, investments, or insurance can continue to utilize the existing Kotak banking app.

• Payments and Transfers: The app facilitates UPI payments of up to ₹1 lakh with the ease of scanning a QR code or entering a phone number. For larger amounts exceeding ₹1 lakh, users can utilize NEFT or RTGS payment options. The ability to schedule automatic monthly payments to contacts adds convenience for regular expenses like domestic help or pocket money. Moreover, users can conveniently receive money by sharing their unique Kotak account QR code.
• Unified View: Users can access a comprehensive dashboard displaying all banking relationships with Kotak. This includes savings/current accounts, debit and credit cards, deposits, and payment histories. The feature to quickly show or hide all balances enhances privacy management.
• Card Management: The app provides robust security features, allowing users to temporarily lock debit or credit cards when necessary. It also enables the disabling of specific transaction types and provides immediate card-blocking options in cases of loss or theft. Users can review all transactions for their credit cards in the current cycle and access past statements for thorough financial tracking.
• Smarter Investing: ActivMoney is a feature designed to optimize interest earnings by automatically transferring surplus account balances into deposits. Further investment functionalities are anticipated in future updates.
